A Good Time to Learn the Secrets of the Greatest Snow on Earth

While we are waiting for the start of ski season, now is the time to pick up Secrets of the Greatest Snow on Earth if you still don't have a copy for yourself or need some for gifts this holiday season.  If you like this blog, you will love the book.  I can guarantee that more easily than I can guarantee the next big storm.

If you buy direct from University Press of Colorado, enter 50FOR50 as a promotional code and you get 50% off.  That's a one time deal good through the end of the year.  Secrets is also available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble, as well as several great local bookstores including Kings English at 15th and 15th, Weller Book Works in Trolly Square, and Dolly's in Park City.

I'll also be giving lectures tonight at Utah State and next Thursday (12 Nov) at Westminster College on the Secrets of the Greatest Snow on Earth.  Both lectures are free and open to the public.  Details below.

  1. Do you ever do lectures at any of the SLCC locations by chance?? I would love to come to one but they're pretty far from me :(

  2. Haven't had an invite. Keep an eye on the blog, as you never know. Westminster is not close enough? You can almost get there by train and trolley.

  3. I'm down in draper, at the point of the mountain. It's a pretty far ride to get down there haha. I'll probably make it down. Darn work/school schedule is beyond hectic. Out of curiosity if you had an invite would you go? I have a very close family member that works at SLCC. She has a decent amount of pull, and has a facination with meteorology. Like mother like son I guess haha. Let me know! :)
