Yup, some of the white stuff will be in the air today as a shortwave trough embedded in the large-scale northerly flow moves into Utah this afternoon.

This won't be a big storm.  Maybe a few inches of low-density fluff in the mountains when what we need is multiday high-density dump to get the base built up.  I guess we need to take what we can get.  The long-range model forecasts are not bullish for snow.
