ScienceDebate.org has a side-by-side comparison of Barack Obama's answers and Mitt Romney's answers to the top American science questions available here. I doubt the candidates actually wrote these, and they are full of the usual vagaries, but I still find it necessary to examine where presidential candidates stand on scientific issues. Of course, on some of these issues, such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education, everyone talks a good game, but we still lose ground.
