Little Cottonwood Freshies

Source: Snowbird
A skiff of snow is now coating the high peaks of the central Wasatch.  Looks like an inch or so on the patrol hut at the top of Snowbird.

The Alta-Collins observing site shows an 8 inch storm depth, perhaps enough for some of you diehards to consider a quick climb, but alas, its read 6 inches all summer, so my guess is that there may be an inch or two.

This snow won't survive long.  Ridging is building in and temperatures are rebounding.  It looks like a beautiful stretch of weather ahead.
