The Best Skiing in the West?

Source: Chris Huber/Rapid City Journal
If you are looking to make some turns, you might want to head to the Black Hills of South Dakota.  They got a pummeling the past few days.  The 48-hour snowfall accumulation analysis ending at 7 am this morning shows more than 36 inches across much of the Black Hills.

The bigest snowfall total reported by the National Weather Service thusfar is 48 inches near Deadwood.

  1. That looks like it came in with a wee bot of wind!

  2. Wow what a dumping that looks like a lot of fun for the skiers and a nightmare for everyone else :)
