A Warm End of Summer

The Snow Miser has ruled the roost around here for much of the year, but the Heat Miser is back.

After four months (Apr–Jul) with mean temperatures below average, August came in 2F above average at the Salt Lake City International Airport.

On the other hand, it's much better if "he who must not be named" returns in late August and September than July.  It was a very enjoyable summer in Salt Lake and if we can have a warm September, I suspect we'll all be happy.  As it turns out, the CPC suggests the dice are loaded for an above average mean temperature in September.
