Record Warmth, Again

Today's 58F high at KSLC tied the record set in 1947.  We didn't make it to the coveted 60F barrier as I anticipated.  Too much cirrostratus for that, but a tied record nonetheless.  The cold pool remained entrenched over poor Vernal and the Uinta Basin.

Forecasts remain on track for a windy day tomorrow.  The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for much of the western portions of the State, including the Tooele and Salt Lake Valleys.

It will be a night of restless sleep in anticipation of tomorrow's weather.
